A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. The circular designs symbolises the idea that life is never ending and everything is connected. In drawing, the mandala is a very repetitive pattern.

A page of written instructions and 2 pages of step-by-step photographs. It also includes the link to Mrs Red's Pinterest board with a whole heap of mandala inspiration!

What you need for this project:
Sketch book or A4 size cartridge paper 
Drawing compass
180 degree protractor
Graphite pencil and eraser
Clear plastic ruler
A couple of drawing pens (Mrs Red used 02 and 03 is perfect nib size)
(Staedtler Maths set includes all above apart from paper)

Age: 9+ (younger with guidance of an adult)
