One point perspective is a fantastic  learning tool for drawing and anything that is meant to be 3D looking will have perspective. This lesson plan shows you how easily you can create a very effective drawing once you know a couple of very simple rules.

What you need for this project:
A5 sheet of cartridge paper is minimum size, A4 would be preferred. 
A HB or 2B graphite pencil
Eraser and pencil sharpener

Age: 8+ (younger with guidance of an adult)
